I think that the workshop isn't really worth going to, all shut up, but it's on Tanner's Hill, just near Deptford Bridge opposite the High Street. Barry returned an email I sent him, he said that all Witcomb production is in Wales now. Maybe someone just lives there above the workshop at Tanners Hill, I don't know.
Good luck, let us know how you get on. I remember seeing that you can also train in Tig welding at Lewisham, might be worth doing (Brian Rourke tig welds his frames and they're rated.).
