didn't know there was a difference in bolt size. i might be interested. what's the depth of measurement, is it the diameter of the pin?!

I have the thin ones here:

The difference is in the ends not the bolt as far as I can tell.

If this is for your Bob Jackson then the thin ones will fit. You just need to stop being precious about the paint on the track ends. :)

wools - i do not doubt that you're right, but i just can't bring myself to do it. mainly because i'm still debating whether i need them, and don't want to commit by jamming them on, then change my mind.

You don't need them dude. They're a bit of a faff. I had a couple, sold one and the one I had on ended up annoying me so it's now on a keyring.
I have the thin tugs, but they don't fit my new frame. Pretty much brand new. Anyone have the fat ones they want to swap for? I live in London.
