Tip #1: Do not lean! Ever!
Tip #2: Stay out of the gutters and in the well-worn tracks of vehicles.
Tip #3: Just because you can stop, don't believe others can.
Tip #4: Rinse your bike with cool water after use.
Tip #5: Don't brake or accelerate in turns. If you need to slow down, anticipate and do it well in advance in a straight line.
Tip #6: When you do accelerate or brake do so slowly and gently, try avoiding skidding.
Tip #7: White snow often has more grip than tarmac with black ice that looks clear.
Tip #8: Don't assume the path is clear under snow. Snowdrifts are fun to cycle through but there's usually a reason why it's collected where it has.
Tip #9: Consider wearing a helmet

Aside from those well documented tips from the snow and winter tyres threads... what other pieces of wisdom do we have to share? Can we be said to even possess wisdom?
