Terrible picture, but you get the idea. It's about 7 inches*** in places*** in Watford where I work, it's stopped snowing now though.

If that's your idea of seven inches- I feel sorry for your girlfriends.

What the hell is is with english people and they're shockingly poor measurement of snow depth.
