She must've got you a nice Xmas present (a pair of Dents perhaps?) if she's lady sunset. Normally she's referred to as the enemy.

I have really crap circulation, my hands and feet are pretty much cold all the time.
Just got a pair of the silk glove liners for 5 quid in decathlon and I can report that they make a huge difference, hands aren't exactly toasty warm now, but they aren't frozen and painful like they normally are after a cold ride. -

Should I get fingerless or, erm, fingered glove liners?
-
• #332
well, it's your fingers that get cold......
-
• #333
Do you reckon that fingerless ones'll keep the tips any warmer by virtue of keeping the rest of the hand significantly warmer? I'm sorry if that seems a stupid question.

I tried these on and they felt good, nice and thick - they were basically the only other gloves I considered buying. The izumis won out because they were only £5 more, seemed slightly thicker and had a good leather grip. I suspect these might be more waterproof though.
They sell them in Evans and you can price match.
I've been riding in these Sealskinz road gloves recently and can't recommend them enough. Pretty much waterproof too.

I've got a pair of the Sealskinz gloves, they are very good but not quite warm enough for current temperatures. I dug out the Pearl Izumi lobster gloves last night and my hands were toasty warm this morning.

sounds like you have got some of that Raynaud's (531) disease there.

I reckon they do the opposite, your hands feel toasty but your fingertips feel super cold in comparison. I wore some on a little photography trip last week and I really regretted it.

my winter gloves are made by dents (one of the last glove makers in the UK)
my dad lives in the town with their factory so i get the factory rejects
current pair are black leather and fur lined (rabbit/chinchilla or similar) they were about 25 quid
they fucking rock
and i feel entitled to commit acts of extreme depravity when wearing fur lined black leather rapist gloves
Fuck the bunnies, they're £90 online...or have i missed sumting

Did someone say something about Rapha?
Bit expensive that stuff, don't ya think?

A friend got a pair of Dent rabbit fur gloves for Christmas, they are very special. £25 for a pair is an amazing bargain, unless the seconds have got rabbit's faces and feet as lining.

can vouch for Sealskinz road gloves too. bought them in early December and originally thought they'd be too hot but they've been ace in the cold yesterday and today.

i think the main issue will be colour and range selection.
everything i have bought (or had bought) has been fine. -

I'm just using cheap ski gloves, but they're working really well... barely have cold fingers by the time I'm home.
plus one, wonderfully warm (abiet slighty diffcuilt if you're riding a geared brakeful bicycle), a goretex one is the icing on the cake for ulimate warmth, even when it was snowly last years, it's plentiful enough.
