  • Got Left 4 Dead 2. Ace.

    Was playing co-op Spec Ops last night, on veteran. 'KIN TOUGH. Did three of them;

    1. Clearing out the Favela. Kept getting mauled, but stick together, revive regularly, listen for dogs and set claymores, and we did it.
      I did this one solo on veteran, took me ages. I just kept getting rushed by dogs, (they come at you from both sides if they can). The best tactic I found was to go through slowly clearing out enemies (use the heartbeat sensor so you know when an area is clear), but as soon as you hear dogs, RUN. turn around and get back to the start area that should be mostly clear, get yourself into a corner and let rex and rufus come at you.

    2. The AC130 gauntlet. Did it first time but my heart was in my mouth. Pegging it for cover, hearing a load of baddies near, panicking and wondering where your cover is, then WHOOOOOSH BANG!!!! Hellfire rains down around you and you make haste for the next building.
      Played though this last night, raining death from above never gets old :)

    3. The petrol station/burger bar one. Waves of baddies on two fronts. Literally just hole up in the restaurant and hide. Thermal scope when they're at distance then grenade launcher if they break cover, but don't let them get in your building!
      The one with BCR's, predator drones, and helicopters too? Use the turrets, they make life a lot easier for you. But yes, you need lots of cover! Claymores by the doors and don't sit staring at a doorway. Flashbangs normally announce they are close so helps not to be blinded.

    We couldn't get past Snatch and Grab last night, have to try that one again soon! Armour Peircing (15 juggernaughts on an oil rig) is much easier than it should be. Did it solo on vet last night, 3rd attempt.
