I think if you want to run something like profile or demolition cranks you can buy a profile bottom bracket and put a euro converter on it

euro converter? The spindle is the same it is the cups that are different dependant on euro, mid or trad BMX. If you want a Profile then just buy a Profile euro BB.

also. wondering about barspin. Do you think a 175mm cranks would make to much toe overlap and if so what would be a good size crankarm.

i'd be more concerned about pedal strike on the ground when turning sharply...
I run 170mm Profiles on a Volume Cutter and it's not a major issue but it has happened a couple of times...so with 175mm obviously the clearance is less.... just my 2ยข

I run these on my Scissor:
http://www.sourcebmx.com/product/race-products/components/drivetrain/cranks/sinz-expert-cranks/2012.shtmlI run 160 and never get pedal strike, with the higher bb height you could probably get away with something a bit longer, 165 or 170 if you must. Square taper also so not too difficult to get a bb.

I run 170 and get no pedal strike. I also get no toe overlap with size 9 feet. I don't do any of that barspin stuff, if my bars are spinning that much it means I have just fallen off and my feet are probably no longer on the pedals anyway!

great! thanks for the help
I'm just doing a theoretical build but being new to fixed I'm unsure what bmx cranks will and wont work, because of the bb cup fittings I wasn't sure of how the bb would fit.
thanks
