Dammit! Scratched my paintwork...

Well a few months ago some nice builders decided to dump all their painting equipment in my bike shed (well, actually on my bike) leaving my poor frame covered in spots of white paint, so today I tried to scrub them off (gently) but I've managed to leave a load of small scratches in the surface of my paint work. I thought I was being careful!

Any idea how to redeem paintwork which has tiny surface scratches in it?

you could try T Cut a few quid for a bottle from any home ware/car shop

t cut, polish, and elbow grease, the latter you can find, well, near your elbow.
Or lacquer it, after sanding it all, but i'm unsure whether that's a good thing. Might peel afterwards.

The big Dulux shops have a spectrograph analyser which guarantees a perfect match for the paint colour. However that leaves the problem of the application unless you have a spray kit with compressor.

brasso will do the trick its got a really fine grit and should be just the ticket

you want finishing stuff from a car paint shop ( not homfrauds)
the really fine grade is what you need, its how they buff up new paint,
tcut is wank in comparison
