^^Cheers guys... that's what I was hoping. I figured I'd take a punt and get in there quick. Just a random find while I was looking for a wheelset. The guy said it'd been used for time trialing... maybe the random dilled bit was for weight?

It looks like it might have held a magnet for a cadence meter. Drilling that part for weight would have saved about 5g!
