JPS bike black and gold with rider toking mercilessly, Ed, out of curiosity, even if those hubs are not your cuppa, what rims would you lace them up to? I was thinking a pair of them laced to Ambrosio excellence?

My apologies. I had mistakenly believed that you had wanted Gold coloured hubs, not hubs with actual gold plating. I had almost (stupidly) recommended Mack hubs.
Are you planning on having a solid silver seatpin?

I recon its got to be all black rims and spokes...understated to show off the hubs... ceramic open pros IMO...
...or maybe find gold plated spokes... but still with all black rims...
...or just go with blue anodised deep v's and orange spokes.

If Joan Collins was to ride a bike, this would be it. White and gold - very Dynasty era 80's!

not a piece to be ridden in this here climate. You need an understated rare rim to go.

Conflicting views from press (tighten your belts, it'll be worse than the great depression) and the government (let's spend our way out) and you want a bling bike?

The Gold Anniversary hubs are not being made for the European Market.
-
• #22
.. not made for european market? you sure? I am sure read somewhere that they were.

I work for BLB, we are the European Distributers of Phil. We can't buy them, or didn't buy them. Not entirely sure which, think its the former. Contact Phil direct. Pretty sure its your only option. They will be minimum £500 a pair. If they are real gold think £800, and be happy if its cheaper.
