yeh the display errors are a bit weird, like when the status updates on the screen even when you have it minimised.

An apt summary of Techwarz™ for boxing day. Thanks Tynan.
Techwarz™ is too slow, it hasn't got the SuperPro™ or Goontrotter™ plug-ins like the Canon/Safari has (which were basically stolen from OS X before it was called OS X). I still run MSDOS on a Nikon film body (rigged with a custom hacked CMOS sensor) it's much much more stable than the 2nd generation iPod even though the operating system was futurestolen from the Zune/Chrome/Android (itself basically a Quicktime application running on top of a 10 megapixel Sony Bravia Qwerty keyboard based browser (with touch gestures).
If you are not prepared to go 'source code' then you are basically browsing in the slow lane.

Since Microsoft was forced by the European Union, to provide options to their own browser, the offerings have been patchy. I've tried them, and Sleipnir is just rancid, with SlimBrowser being not bad. But I remember using Avant and others quite a long time ago, so I thought I'd check out the state of play for IE competitors.
Well of course there is the main version of IE, which I abandoned ever using, due to annoying Settings Pop Ups. I reacquainted myself with Maxthon2 (version 3 will be due soonish) and Avant. Both not bad, but I can see that they haven't stood still, and have been reasonably developed. Avant also gives you a standalone "Private" version, for secretive browsing. That is new....for them.
Then I tried two new browsers, the Comodo Dragon and Lunascape6. The Lunascape6 browser is a triple engined browser, selectable if you wish the Firefox, IE, or Chrome engines. I liked that alot. The Comodo Dragon is the only one I've listed that isn't a true IE replacement, because of its Chrome engine. But it is fast, and its built with security in mind. I liked that too.
Well thats it. Pretty boring, but I'm like that sometimes.

IE 9 has been released as Beta. Any thoughts yet?
...but does have some funny display errors and doesn't always like to comply with what you're doing. Still like it though, it is raaather nippy...
