  • and some other stuffs. Sorry Ed.

  • Forgive the lack of pictures:

A nice pair of new jeans
    The latest Terry Pratchett book
    A robot brush
    Smart shirt

I'm wearing the jeans, have almost finished the Pratchett book and the robot brush is sitting on the shirt next to my chair.

  • noice!!

  • My sister drew me this picture of Jason Statham, I laughed so hard when I opened it I thought I was going to pop my spleen.

I have a bit of a man crush on him

  • No bike related pressies for me, just the usual mix of clothes and smelly stuff and a rather nice watch.

My favourite of all the presents so far has to be these... \/

    Some of these

They are surely worthy of a forum ride out to somewhere very dark on a windless evening to set them free?

If so I propose we get more. There was a mass let off of these at Big Chill and it was beautiful.

  • He who, while living an apparently normal life, experiences the whole world as an emptiness, is a Jivanmukta. None is afraid of him; he is afraid of none.

  • These B123, thanks to my family and tamu keeping it a secret.

One of these which has already become useful.

    And finally

  • wow....25-40,000.....thats mental, im blown away, i didnt even know there were bikes worth that much....everyone has been well and truely trumped on this thread.

I didn't get one, was just asking about it for work. I've been angling for a test-ride, but they're having none of it so far.

  • One of these. Marvellous.

umm. i didnt really get one. i was only joking. i got a wallet and a lamp and a message from santa telling me to spend less time working on my bike.

Although beautiful to watch fly off I say no, it's just a way to litter but far from where you drop the item.

I received The complete outdoors hand book by Raymond Mears 1992. I am in love.

    Also a nasty head cold.

Odd fit but kept me warm in the snow last week. Or maybe its just my skinny girl arms.

I got a box of 10 of them from MOC, and was thinking the same thing - would be better out of London thought so you dont get the light pollution, which you get in places like Wimb Common and Richmond Park (which are my nearest open spaces)
Or maybe from the top of ditchling and watch it float out to sea..

  • And I paid for a trip for myself to go to Antarctica. Something that I have always wanted to do.

  • ^sounds awesome! what you going to do there?

  • Also got this. Well, a couple of < £5 secret santa items and some love from my girlfriend (which I get all year anyway) and I'm a happy bunny. 'Tis more than I expected.

Though I am thinking about getting TV again soon. Lived without it for a while, has anyone tried those freesat boxes? We don't have an aerial and can't fit one externally and internally it couldn't work (thick walls of steel, stone and concrete)... but we do have a satellite dish hanging off of the building, but I am not feeling inclined to put money Mr Murdoch's direction... so I've been thinking about one of these things:
    Humax FOXSAT-HDR Freesat+ 320GB HD PVR Digital Box: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo

That might be a late Christmas present to us... or maybe something for next year.

Anyhow, ignoring the obvious consumerism gone mad, hope you all had a godo Christmas.

blasphemer! it's called celebrating jesus' birthday. he needs lots of gifts to make up for the 300 years that it wasn't celebrated.

  • I got this:

Now I've got to get my skinny arse over to somewhere in Belgium and explain to the missus why there's another bike in our rather small 1 bedroom flat.

  • Mmm, very nice. I got a pair of these:

  • Trickers? Bombproof - had a pair for about 12 years. The just keep going and going and going.
