Our kitchen lights(!) with a Canon 1DsMkII and a 50 f1.4 wide open. Colour corrected in Capture1 Pro.
I like narrow depth of field. I like available light. All my lenses are super fast, and wide open you get this nice vignette, just like the old edge burn in the darkroom. I'm old skool; I like the look of large format field camera work, but adapted digital.
