Riding my dutch through the freshly fallen unpacked slush with a thin coat of just-starting-to-harden icy bits was rather hairy yesterday, being compounded by having a 12kg holdall strapped to the back rack.
Coming down a pedestrian ramp over the A12 with only the coaster brake which then locked as I slid/skidded all the way down the ramp was a 'little' terrifying...I couldn't unlock the brake as it was the only thing slowing me down, with the frame flexing and twisting I felt like a lorry about to jacknife, I managed to hold the skid all the way down the ramp and control it round the tight bend at the bottom...all in 2'' heels...FTW...
Snow on cheeks, shoulders and hat when I arrived home ...;D...
If you where in 4" heals I would have been impressed, as it is, I'm rather indifferent to the entire affair.
