just wanted to post his for Woody and Bens benefit:
"Slashing- Chopping down hard on someone's mallet is definitely slashing. You can defensively hook their mallet or lift it or hold it down with yours, but tomahawking will be called. Basically when it crosses the line of possibly damaging the opponent's mallet, it's slashing"
