  • Yes, but I thought the bearings were adjustable. Not that the on-ones are bad, just the usual cartridges which are a gamble as to how they run.

Of course, if you were anal, you could experiment with taking the seals off, removing the grease and replacing with an oil...

  • Don't do anal.

  • Or ceramic?

    what are they like?

  • I've not stuck my knob in any pottery recently.

  • You don't know what you're missing.

    Probably..

  • I thought that "plating" was something else altogether. You live and learn.

  • So, IRD Cadence Aero + 24h On-One + CX-Ray 274mm, actual weight (minus lockrings, nuts, rim tape):

    Front: 775g
    Rear: 825g

    Wheelset: 1600g

Pretty good for a sub £250 track clincher pair with a 30mm rim. And they seem very robust, as much as you can tell without riding them.

    Fuck your factory wheelsets :)

  • Heavy wonky shit.

  • Can you stop talking about yourself for one minute?

  • I looked in the toilet and wanted to keep you informed.

  • Thanks for thinking of me.

  • Saw shit and thought of the forum. Can't sleep too hot. Fucking 8hr
