Sorry if I was not clear- if I was going to build it up with period correct DA I'd want to move the shifter bosses back to the top of the down tube as they were when Koga made the frame in the first place.
A previous owner has cut the original bosses off and attached new ones to either side of the downtube, i.e. the more normal position for them.
