hell yes ed, otherwise they wouldn't make em out of other materials - i usually run a lot of post as i have gangly legs so a ti post gives a really squishy ride - when i only have the classic fistful of post on bikes like the singular, the carbon is noticeably comfier
i have a silly ti mtb at home with Ti handlebars, i love how wide they are and pretty much everything on that one is titanium so have stuck with them but my previous carbon bars were infinitely lighter and comfier
don't want to teach you how to suck eggs but the basics are that the carbon weave abzorbs some of the vibrations rather than transferring them to your hands or ass - or at least that's how i've come to understand it.
Hense why lots of sportif bikes and mountainbikes have carbon seatstays for comfort
