I've only ever seen 2 other non geared bikes: a langster parked outside M&S and someone bombing past the train station / anvil roundabout on some white singlespeed (might have been fixed, this was about half a year ago so my memory's a bit fuzzy).
I take it you're a student too? I managed to get mine home in pieces on the roof of my friend's car.
