no, I want someone to buy it that is gonna use it as a cyclocross bike.

I've done a few races on it and it is pretty good.
I can keep up with the geared riders, even done the northface trail on it :)

  • I would like it a lot and will run it as a cyclocross machine - I need to check the size so tentative dibs

  • £250 cash in hand tomorrow.

  • I like this bicycle

    Fair enough. Makes sense.

  • So you wouldn't sell me this bike? Pfft. Polo-racist.

  • just tell me you are gonna race it and i'll be happy.

  • Can you please get in a time machine and contact me on 28th april 2010? :(

  • I just did. Why the fuck don't you reply to your PMs? Don't waste my time machine.

  • Interested, could you PM me please (can't yet still in the kindergarten!)

  • still available?

Very interested, I want to be able to race through next winter!!!

  • sorry but i sold my ss mtb instead

  • no worries, I have a lot of other parts anyway so i might buy a new frame instead and build it up that way. I have been itching to race all winter so i'm well up for getting something for next cross season.

Out of interest, how are the Avid shorty brakes? Most cross bikes come with frogslegs or similar.

  • brakes are good, I have removed the rear brake as i dont use it.
have you looked at the genesis day one cross

its a better bike than the pomp £500 brand new

  • this is my day one (a prototype) with pompino forks and flat bar/v brake set up. Rides like a mountain bike but light enough for a bit of on-road when it's snowy and shitty.

  • cheers guys. I'm not convinced by the forks or hubs on that.

why do you say its a better bike that the trusty on one?

  • Personally (and I've owned both) I think the pomp is a better bike, the frame is slightly lighter than the genesis. Not looked at the components on each OTP version though so can't comment.
