Who makes these forks?

Posted on
  • Loads of modern track bikes seem to come wth these forks as standard, including Koga Miyata full pro track, Condor Lavoro, Bianchi Pista Concept, De Rosa Merak, Alpina (as fitted to Dolan Track Champion etc etc.

    They are obviously out sourced, but who actually makes them?

    And does anyone know what rake they are?

    Like these (distinguishable by the little notch half way down the legs);

    Cheers

  • Calling Mitre_Tester...........

  • yup, alpina

  • You answered your own question when you said Alpina. :)

  • anyone know if the stickers can be removed without too much damage on the alpina?

  • Ha, cheers. Thought that may be the case. Dont suppose anyone can point me towards their website please? Cant find it for love nor money.

  • they have them for less than 70 pounds on ribble

  • Sorry, I dont want to buy any. I just want to know the specs for them. Rake in particular.

    I found it on the Koga site actually. Rake is 35mm.

    Cheers all.

    That would suggest that the forks are not the same after all then as the Alpinas seem to have a 30mm rake.

    Also think it is actually made by Ellyps and is the 4ZA fork

  • I just got an email back from Terry Dolan saying the same thing actually. Maybe the Koga site is wrong. Looking at them up close they certainly look to be closer to 30mm rather than 35mm, which is what I was hoping for to be honest.

    Cheers for the pointer
