Sewing/Seamstresses/Seam-men?

Great title, I know.

Recently, I got a royal mail (linnell) bag as a present, and in general I quite like it's simplicity and such. I even took it on tour to Gran Canaria this past weekend with way too much in it and was fairly happy.

Thing is, I want to make quite a few changes to this bag. Alot of velcro and zipper additions and stuff. I've been dropping things out of it and the final straw has been drawn this morning when I had my phone fly out at high speed on kingsland rd.

Is there anyone on here who knows alot about bags and sewing and that and would be willing to work on this for me? Obviously I'd pay you whatever you want.

If you're up for it, please let me know. I'd prefer someone local to W14 or N16, but am willing to travel a bit to get to you depending.

Please help me, I'll just butcher my bag if I start going at it with needles and such!

Slightly off topic, however I own a pair of pantaloons which are very dear to me. They were responsible for me meeting the girl of my dreams on a train platform in New York when she asked me who the designer was. We chatted for some time on the train, and it turned out we had the same name. I got off the train at my stop and found myself blushing. Anyway, I thought better of it and tried to jump back in, but the doors slammed in my face just as she simultaneously jumped up to get out. I saw her mouth "god damn it" as the train took off for Queens. I remember sitting with my head in my hands on the seat on the platform, wondering what might have been. Still wonder.

Anyway, I want some more fucking pantaloons. If anyone can make them for me, I will pay cash made out of genuine fucking money.

i think you misunderstand my tone - i'm really not upset, and if you're going to waste time in a thread, you may as well make it hilarious like everyone else does.

If anyone needs shit sewing/altering I can do it. I've just finished a fashion degree and know what I'm doing.
A for making pantaloons from scratch, it's quite a massive job and I'm not sure if I can be arsed in all honesty!
I'm just waiting til I get my sewing machine back from my godparents in Bromley.
