  • Tyres are of the conventional 'clincher' type.

  • Rear axle OLN is 126mm or 130mm?

  • (No one expects the Spanish Inquisition)

  • I think M-X may have just grabbed it from under my nose.

I would have confirmed my dibs if Zieleman had told me that it would fit.

    Bugger.

As beautiful as it is, I just can't do this justice at the mo - over to you Dammit...

  • 126mm ...but I am confident it can take 130mm too without damaging the frame. It is steel.

Other facts you could possibly need:

    • headtube 11.5cm
    • 1" headset
    • bb shell: 68mm, brittish
    • seatpost diameter: 26.8mm
    • braze on for front mech

    Okay M-X.

    Thanks for your interest.

  • Aha, would you have a seatpost to fit?

  • Yes, I will trow in a triathlon example anyway and I will dive in my mighty pile of stuff to see whether I can find a regular one as well.

  • Many thanks for including the seatposts- please examine your paypal account, you should find the money in there now/shortly.

If you happen to find a suitable stem and maybe some bars let me know, I am sure we can come to some arrangement.

  • Damit, I've got the seatpost for you if you go ahead with the purchase (26.8 Campagnolo Chorus Aero)

  • Dammit can be building this baby under the Christmas tree.

    SOLD it is.

  • Good - too tall for me. This way I will be seeing it around :-)

  • nice buy! congratulations, dammit. wish it was me

  • If it does not fit me then it will be for sale in the New Year.

However my fingers are crossed on the size front.

Now what RAL is baby blue?

  • Congrats, that's a truly beautiful frame.
Just to say I bought a frame off Zieleman and it was packed beautifully. Every inch of it protected and safe as houses and arrived exactly when he said it would. So rest easy...

RAL 5018 was Turqoise on older Yetis. Maybe that does?

Personally if I would have gone through with the project, I think I would have finished it in candy purple with glitter dust and fork in full chrome.

  • Damn, dammit.
I've only just seen it. Would of bought it. Bargain too!

  • Dammit, if it doesn't fit we can do swapsies.

  • that is sexy

  • Nice purchase - you going geared or fixed with that bad boi

  • BANG!

    Nice stupid purchase, knackers!

    Look forward to seeing it.

  • It's arrived, extremely well packed, and it has beaten every single other package that I have ordered for Christmas.

And it came from the Netherlands.

  • build it up and show us pics! ;)

  • I had a look at 7400 series Dura Ace on eBay the other day, you can get a groupset for very little.

Tempted to build this "period correct", but I'd need to get the shifter bosses repositioned if I went that route, so I'll probably move the DA cranks and rear wheel over to this from my Fuji and run it fixed.

Sorry, I really don't understand what the problem is.

If you are going to fix it, you can leave the shifter bosses as/where they are. Even better: cover them, so you're not going to injure your legs when standing on the pedals or so.
If you wanna ride with down tube shifers: you have the perfect bosses in the right place.
With any other shifting mechanism, you can put the with the ST-7400 brifters enclosed cable adjusters on the shifter bosses.
I'm afraid I just didn't get your point.
