atomcf - theres a wednesday night chaingang in Hastings you might enjoy, we used to meet at the pier but now meet further out of town to avoid killing holidaymakers wandering onto the overcrowded cycle path. 7.30pm every wednesday at the old Stamco site (bridge cafe ).
we always have one or two and sometimes up to half a dozen fixers out of about a dozen riders. Its informally organised by a member of the Hastings CC but non club guys are welcome and we have regulars from Ingear, VC Bayeux, Eastbourne Rovers and Rye wheelers who turn up too. why not come along and ride with us this week? its a fairly flat course - 10 miles out and 10 back. most of the fixed guys ride around 81".
