Training this winter

i have never heard of a 200m standing/held start sprint but i would imagine it could be pretty explosive and interesting to watch akin to the 100 metres in athletics. no tactics or tricks just all out three riders per heat GO.
could something like that work do you think?

There is a thing called a chariot race, in the US I think. basically a standing start one lap race. That would be great fun, 6 or 8 riders up at a time.

There was always handicap sprints, but seeding is a pain. would be great to have some 200 flying tts and ss 500m tts though!
