We're going to need to convert about 25% of the mass of the Sun to energy at an efficiency of 99.99% to form a singularity large enough for us all to ride through (100m diameter event horizon), and then it will only be open for about 30 seconds. So we are going to need one mother of a magnetic containment.
Of course there is no way (that we know of) to ensure that we will actually end up 60 - 120 million years in the past. We might just scoot back to yesterday tea time.
But hey, that's quantum mechanics for you. The more you look the less you find.
