everyone wants to be the hero of their story, which doesn't make you any less of a cunt, when you act like a cunt.
Everyone wants the forum to be a wild west, but there are a shit load of bandits and only one sheriff, which means when anyone has a point of view which is different it gets drowned in the "only having a laugh mate, its the internetz" so people hit the report button to bring in the real sheriff.
I'll read the jokes and the banter, but personally there's too many comedians here, trying to get the spotlight so why try and compete, or rise to the inevitable poking with a stick. Because any reaction apart from an oliver shickesque deconstruction of your argument, via the use of multi quote and long paragraphs just prolongs the so called 'banter"
If the forum becomes more of a social space rather than a place to find out about parts, and chainlines, and wheelsets, then some of the same social niceties are going to need to apply, and bullying, baiting, and fights are off limits, and not things to be generated, and created just so the masses can have some entertainment of an afternoon when works slow.
each one, teach one innit, and if other posters on this thread, don't know that I've met, like and believe that we are friends (dovvles) why should they take my words as anything but the ramblings of someone out to spoil the fun and then weigh in with their own "hilariously funny contribution"
