700 x 23 tyres for Alex DC19 rims?

I got my charge grinder which came with these rims:

I've been looking for a set of brown tyres to match the other bits i've put on the bike, it currently has a pair of black Conti Sport Contact 700 x 32c on it.

so far i've only come up with the gran compe ss which are listed as 700 x 23, I realise this may be a very simple question but I just wanted to double check that they will actually fit the rims ok before I order a pair.

I do so love that parents are buying computers for children of younger and younger ages.

I did look on sheldon browns site, and looking at his sizing table it would seem to be a 'no' based on the Alex DC19 product page measurements.
But I had also read on other webpages that it shouldn't be a problem, hence my confusion and then asking on here.

The alexrims have a 16.3 interior.

Sheldons table doesn't have 16.3....

....but it does have a 15 and a 17... double check where the green blocks and you'll have your ans.

Yeah it looks to be bang in the middle of a green and a red, which could go either way.
I'm only asking as people on here will have more practical experience of this sort of thing than me, as it's my first large sized wheel bike (all previous ones have been BMX or vintage 20" wheeled bikes).
