  • allo.. done some searching but couldnt find much info!

basically i am after a good quality frame sub £800 that is drilled to run brakes. I like to do a lot of longer distances and really like using hoods and i quite like having fixed and two brakes.

I would prefer a frame with road based geometry as i tend to do longer rides in the country and it would need to be 1 1/8" headset with your normal 130mm spacing on the rear.

I know Bob Jackson could build me what i need, but i dont know if i could wait for the current 6 month build time!

    Anyone got any suggestions?

  • Think you may need to search some more. With an up to £800 budget you will have a very large choice.

  • those are very hard to come by, kerley. stop yanking his chain.

i effectively want a decent quality road frame.. that singlespeed/fixed.

The cinelli gazzetta thats coming out looks good, but i have no idea what it'll be like as its pre-order :)

    What you on about, G?

  • nah, i have £800 in the pot saved for it. It will probably need to stretch to frame, fork, headset and seatpost.

  • So you want a frame with road geometry, drilled front & rear, with 130mm rear spacing.

Have you thought of buying a road frame?

  • Job done... NEXT!
