Fair play to anyone who rides around the world, and all the best to them if they shun media attention/sponsorship etc, but to take such a long and rambling swipe at someone for the way they did it is very odd. That chap seems to have a rather large chip on his shoulder. At a time when most people would be giddily reflecting on their achievements and experiences, he takes a dig at someone else. Besides that, Mark and this guy, in my books, did a great thing and have my utmost respect.
Cheers for the info about Mr Burrows - see him on the train to London a lot, as we're in the same city. Will say hello next time and ask him the question without a PC intermediary...
