  • thanks guys - my BB creaking issue has stopped - i just re-installed the crankset, leaving the BB alone, and it feels OK now. i may need it in a few months time though!

  • Hello all,

I'm looking to get a frame power coated and would like to borrow a Phil Wood BB tool, anybody near SE1 have one that I could borrow/ or fancy helping me get my BB out? If the former, I'm hoping not to have to travel too far as my knee is now shot (thanks to using a bike that was too small after my accident last week).

Also, I tried looking up Amourtex's website and phone number (UingTFS) but the site appears to be gone. Are they 100% shut on Saturdays?

PS if anyone is thinking of calling me don't. My twat phone has now stopped working thanks to yesterdays rain...gash times.

  • I've got a pair, Festus. I could drop 'em off for you on my way up to the gym in an hour or so - how's that for service?

  • freekin awesome!

  • BTW you'll need to press buzzer A or E to get us or try the pub below.

  • anyone got the phil bb tool? if so, can I borrow it?

  • bump. i'm after one of these too..... anybody?

  • pistoffski has some, i know because i sold him mine, pm him.

  • Is it better to get 2 of these like Hubjub say?

  • Is it better to get 2 of these like Hubjub say?

    yes you need two.

  • please note: threads on your BB shell should also have to be alligned properly that means NOT only chased but recut and realligned
i have said Phil tools if someone wants to borrow them....im in se1

  • I haz one

long term will get a second as otherwise it feels like you chase the damn bb back and forth

  • I just picked myself up a lovely phil bb and desperately want to get it fitted this week so save waiting for tool delivery does anyone have one (or 2) they could lend me for an evening this week please? Sharkstar/Wools - I think I pm'd but can't remember...I'll try again anyway.

thanks from the bottom of my bracket

  • Has anyone got a phil wood bb tool i can borrow.

I only have one and have found it not to be effective, really two are needed.

Also anyone know where in London has them for sale (standard or deluxe)?

  • Looking to go for a Phil BB for my latest build.
Seems like the 110.5 will do the job. ISO, English Threaded Cups and Fitting tool.

All, or any of the above considered.

    Hit me up.

  • Anyone got a phill bb tool I could borrow? Think uncle Jd might need one too.

  • Macca's got one I believe.

  • I've got one. Come to Wests tomorrow night and pick it up.

  • Cheers dude - will drop you a PM, probably won't need it until next week if that's OK.

  • ^I've got one in N1 if it's any closer, and still needed.
