RALEIGH ROYAL TOURING FRAME 1994 New Old Stock
    Seat Tube (ctt): 53cm (21in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 55cm (21.5in)
    Rear dropout width: 133mm
    Wheel size: 700C
    Frame tubing: Reynolds 708
This Raleigh Royal touring frame ia bhrand new and never been used. It dates from 1994. The Royal frame builot from Reynolds 708 tubing was identical to the frame used on the Randonneur bicycle of the period and was arguably one of the best production steel touring frames of all time. We rated it extremely highly at Cycling Plus at the time and even did feature of a Royal/Randonneur frame being built. I still have the C+ test Raleigh Royal myself. It has all the braze-ons needed for touring – mounts for front and rear racks, canti brakes, spare spokes etc. Rear dropout width is 133mm so that either 130mm or 135mm OLD rear wheels can be used. A real bargain at £145. SOLD

RALEIGH DYNA-TECH 401Ti ROAD FRAME 1993 New Old Stock
    Seat Tube (ctt): 55cm (21.5in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 55cm (21.5in)
    Rear dropout width: 130mm
    Wheel size: 700C
Frame tubing: Titanium main tubes, chrome-moly rear stays and forks
Brake drop with 700C/Sprint wheel: 47mm
In the late 1980s Raleigh developed frames with bonded aluminium lugs used with steel and/or titanium tubing. These eventually were branded Dyna-Tech. This frame is one of the last of this development and apart from the very rare and exotic version using aluminium metal matrix tubing was the top of the line Raleigh road frame in 1993. It uses titanium main tubes bonded to aluminium lugs with Reynolds chrome-moly rear stays and forks. This frame is totally unused and even comes with a spare frame identity hologram decal that Raleigh used on their top frames then. £145 SOLD subject to payment

    BOB JACKSON ROAD FRAME c1985
    Seat Tube (ctt): 58cm (23in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 56.5cm (22.25in)
    Rear dropout width: 125mm
    Wheel size: 700C
    Frame tubing: Reynolds 531C
Brake drop with 700C/Sprint wheel: 45mm
This Bob Jackson is severely in need of refurbishment – it looks as if it has been used on a home turbo... However it is very sound – there is one very small dent to the side of the top tube but there are no other problems apart from it needing a good powder coat. A chance to get a bargain at £115

WOODRUP ROAD FRAME late 60s/early 70s
    Seat Tube (ctt): 22in (56cm)
    Top Tube (ctc): 22in (56cm)
    Rear dropout width: 120mm
    Wheel size: 700C
Brake drop with sprint/700C wheel: 54mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
    Seatpost size: 27.2mm
    Frame number: 2243
This is a very sound Woodrup road frame from the late 60s/early 70s built with Campag long road ends without eyelets. It will make an ideal frame for a fixed or singlespeed conversion with the long rear dropouts and 120mm OLD spacing – and the front brake drop of 54mm means there’s no difficulties finding brakes to fit... **REDUCED to £69 **SOLD

    CARLTON SUPERCOURSE 1981
    Seat Tube (ctt): 56cm (22in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 52cm (20.5in)
    Rear dropout width: 125mm
    Wheel size: 700C
    Brake drop with sprints/700C: 50mm
    Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 DB
The Supercourse was one of the top Carlton road frames in the late 70s/early 80s. This frame is in very sound condition – except for the rear gear hanger threads which need repairing if it is to be used with a gear – I can get this done at cost price by Argos if the buyer wishes. I have checked the BB threads and ran taps through them and they are perfect. The paint could be touched to make it very useable. An excellent quality frame at a bargain price. **REDUCED to £59 ****SOLD

    MIKE MULLETT ROAD FRAME 1970s
    Seat Tube (ctt): 54cm
    Top Tube (ctc): 53cm
    Rear dropout width: 122mm
Brake drop with 700C wheels: 50/44mm
    Tubing: Reynolds 531 DB tubing
    Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Mike Mullett was for several years the foreman at Raleigh’s Ilkeston works which produced the 753 frames for the Ti-Raleigh team. This frame dates from the 1970s and is in very sound condition. The front fork is not original - but is a Raleigh 531 fork. £79 SOLD

CONDOR TT FRAME c1980 Track Ends
    Seat Tube (ctt): 55cm (21.5in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 53cm (21in)
    Rear dropout width: 120mm
    Wheel size: 700C
Brake drop with 700C/Sprint wheel: 42mm
    Seatpost size: 27.2mm
This is one gorgeous Condor fillet brazed frame built by Vic Edwards probably around 1980 with track rear facing dropouts and a derailleur hanger – there was a real fashion for TT frames in the late 70s/early 80s for using track dropouts with gears. It has very close clearances and I think steep head and seat tube angles. One really special frame. The paint is excellent with a few very small marks. Gear and rear brake cables are internal. **REDUCED TO £195 ****SOLD **

    VISCOUNT AEROSPACE SE
    Seat Tube (ctt): 56cm (22in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 56.5cm (22.25in)
    Rear dropout width: 125mm
    Wheel size: 27in/700C
    Frame tubing: Aerospace steel tubing
Brake drop with 700C/Sprint wheel: 65mm
Viscount frames from the 1970s were really quite far ahead of their times - they were fillet brazed from from good quality cro-mo steel tubing. and were really rather nice. They incorporated advanced features such as a pressed in cartridge bearing BB. And originally were supplied with an aluminium fork which occasionally broke - this frame has had its original forks replaced with steel ones. I can supply an original pair of Viscount wheels and Viscount bars/stem to go with this frame for an additional £20. The frame itself is very sound but the BB needs regreasing or the bearing replaced. £29 SOLD

P T STALLARD MONTLHERY ROAD FRAME
    Seat Tube (ctt): 21in 53cm
    Top Tube (ctc): 21.75in (55.5cm)
    Rear dropout width: 115mm
    Wheel size: 27in/sprints/700C
Brake drop with 700C/Sprint wheel: 58mm
    Frame tubing: Reynolds 531
    Seatpost size: 27.2mm
An early Percy Stallard Monthlery model frame from 1947. The frame appears to be in excellent condition and has been very nicely repainted. This frame features some very attractively cut lugs. It has had rack mounts fitted on the rear stays and there is a period type rack which will be included with the frame. Percy Stallard was essentially the founder and leading light behind the development of road racing in Britain in the 1940s and he sponsored a race team in the 1940s. His shop was in Broad Street, Wolverhampton. Frames were built from 1945 until the late 1960s. See http://www.classiclightweights.co.uk/stallard.html for more details of Percy Stallard and his frames. £125 Still available

    BILL HANNINGTON AUDAX/RANDONNEUR FRAME c1980
    Seat Tube (ctt): 51cm (20in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 52cm (20.5in)
    Rear dropout width: 122mm
    Wheel size: 700C
    Frame tubing: Vitus 980
Brake drop with 700C/Sprint wheel: 53mm
Bill Hannington was a small framebuilder based near Reading in Berkshire. This extremely nice little frame is in excellent condition with excellent paint (just a very small number of tiny marks) features Thanet like Hellenic seatstays except that that they are not connected to the seat tube - on a small frame such as this it gives a lot more room for a saddlebag as a well as a distinctive appearance. £125 SOLD
