  • fixed it.

  • Skully in front of me waiting to cross onto Waterloo Bridge tonight, looked busy giving directions to a ped so didn't say hi...

  • fixed it.

    Nice spot!

  • This morning at 9:15

Impressed by bloke on burgandy FG bike full of stickers and spoke cards. Wearing green BMX crash hat. Couldn't ID bike coz of stickers on bike.

You were riding down St John Street, smithfield, towards st pauls trackstanding patiently at every traffic light. I was trackstanding behind you on a black surly steamroller near old baily

    What bike were you riding?

  • What looked very much like Deluka's bike minus owner in the shadow of the BT Tower this morning.

Also, I keep wondering who owns the blue and yellow Ciocc that's always locked up outside Nero on Charlotte Street. Anyone?

the Ciocc belongs to "legendary controller" Buffalo Bill, famed also for his "edgy blog" (copyright The Times)

  • do you mean the 'godfather of couriers' Buffalo Bill?

Spotted Kornight this morning, lurking behind me like some stealth flouro nodder - then passing me in Tooting - sorry dude, you took me by suprise I never see anyone in Tooting and was a bit fuzzy

  • Reen riding past my window to work.

  • Spotted: the delightful Fenella, in the Ham of Peck. Mawnin'!

Also spotted: Holden HQ wagon, on the embankment. An orange one.

    I shit you not.

With the sun, the tailwind and that awesome beast, my day has been made, without even having my breakfast can of coke.

My half Irish/half jamaican hangover isn't even a problem.

Sounds a bit like Phil the Bike Destroyer.

  • Orange BJ, tatty decals, heading West on Old St (natch) this morning.

  • half Irish/half jamaican hangover

Guiness and rum? Guiness and Red stripe? Jamesons and Red Stripe?

Was chasing the world's fastest hybrid up Farringdon road last night when my ridiculously worn rear Rubino finally went bang. I thought someone has thrown a firecracker at me at first till the fishtailing confirmed spectacular rubberfail. Friendly hybrid man offered me a tube so thanks friendly speedy hybrid man.

The rest of the walk home (up the great spice route) was like watching a cavalcade of fgss fun. The only one that sticks in the memory though is the dude in a white catlike on a new cinelli track bike... single speed with no rear brake at old street roundabout. He was blocking the bike lane by stopping behind the waiting traffic holding himself upright hanging on to a lamp post. double thumbs up.

  • booze and cheebacheeba

  • Pete Scotch last night negotiating the hell of the New Ox.St.
    Good to chat briefly senor

And I think a Pickle, on her dog, on the down escalator in the pantheon M&S y'day lunchtime... about 1.50.
New, oh-so-slick haircut, was scrambling the spot radar.

  • spotted = zero bicycles on 5 am ride to work. But beautifully clear roads and a nice feeling inside.

early to bed, early to ride ftw

  • spotted a battered, blue and brakeless merckx with black stem and risers locked up near the carpark at kingsland shopping centre about 20 minutes ago while on my daily sainsbury's baguette run.

  • Reen riding past my window to work.

    ... and i'm still stuck there ;)

  • skydancer earlier today on the A107 Upper Clapton Road, training someone, I think.

  • Hi Oliver that's my first time spotted... I must get out more:-))
yes I was training a guy from Newham young Carers who is looking to set up a cycle training scheme for young people who look after their parents in Newham. He would like to set up a community cycle training and maintenance scheme like the Bikeworks model... He's seeking funding and I told him about the LCC/TfL community grant fund...

  • Excellent stuff.

  • a chrome single speed with lime green spokes on whitechapel road at commercial rd./st. this morning. waved at a guy with dreadz in the opposite direction. when this happened i realised that i don't know anybody on this forum.

also tom burton's nice blue bike at camberwell today.

  • Smallmoustache, where are you based? Come out to drinks. Great way to meet people.

  • konijn (again!?!) on Atlantic Road, nice mudguards on that beast of a bike! Not taking any chances with slippery roads then? ;]
Sorry I veered off, had to pop into BC for some new toe-straps, forgot they didn't open 'til 10 on a Thursday but they let me in and sold me some anyway... Class...

  • Ha, I'm straight off after work tonight, and was struggling with about 20kg of holiday packing in my bag, so a slow, steady, upright ride in on the mtb was in order :) Nice to see you!
