This is devastating. I have never met or spoken with Fiddy, but he feels like an integral part of this community. I passed him riding his various coveted bikes on lots of occasions and it's just gut wrenching hearing this news.

Paul - keep your morale and remember there are a bunch of people on here who's lives you touched whether you realised or not.

A couple of things

Paul asked for this to be a hidden thread for those who know him to start with. If you can think of anyone who needs to know please cut and paste it in a PM but explain for now it is not to go out wider than that.

Also please resist the urge to call him. He needs to keep an oygen mask on and tends to leave it off after taking calls. SMS are delightfully received and he smiles each time his phone buzzes.

We've never met but it seems there's a great deal of love and respect going on for you here and I'd like to add my best wishes too. I hope we get the chance to meet in the future and my thoughts are with you in the meantime.
