Not actually a bad idea. Spoks are sold for Police use as a lower maintenance alternative to wire spoked wheels, and I'm pretty sure they are less likely to snag you skirt too.

True, but less fun in a crosswind and not currently compatible with Schwalbe Big Apples. Xentis Kappa would work, but they're twice the price of Spoks and you don't really need the light weight on that bike.

and they don't come in the variety of matching colors to match your nails/shoes/bag

Amazing quality. That all thing together^^does not suit my likes, but that frame is

Fancy/expensive bits on a cheapo frame, could be nice but it's just sooo terrible.
