5.2 lbs for the frame alone is heavy - I'd guess it's plain gauge tubing.

£125 postage.. ouch
why does it cost a lots more than posting a deep v wheelsets? (they're about £15 to post), the frame's slighty bigger than the wheelsets.
i was taking the piss
I suppose that's the problem with the internet, it's harder to tell whether there's piss-taking involved or not.

Are there any track frames out there wit 130 O.L.D (rear triangle spacing)?
I want to run an (ahem) Alfine hub on a training bike.

Try and find one built up and see the large clearances. I saw one that looked like an MTB frame!
Anyway, the fact it is actually £200 including shipping means it is not cheap anyway.

...And the fact it's over a year old.

whoops, good point - damned people digging up old threads!
But then I suppose they have to seeing that they get ripped into if daring to start a new thread.as you were
I was mulling about on ebay and came upon a £75 track frame (inc. fork), thought there's a catch but so far it said it's 4130 Chromoly steel;
Eighth-Inch Scrambler track frame
there's dozen of them in different size on ebay, it look rather decent for a 4130 chromoly frame it has to be said, the carbon fibre fork is probably those fork that's have carbon wrapped around the metal.
