Exactly. I apply Tolkien's distinction between different kinds of escapism, though--on the one hand, the flight of the deserter, and on the other hand, the escape of the prisoner. I think the former (never mind the military metaphor) is problematic, whereas the latter can lead to better things.

also, rollercoaster tycoon is on my list of currently played, and so is ski free.

I was talking about Railroad Tycoon, and I don't actually get the reference here?
