  • Due to being in roughly £5k in debt and a university student the time has come to sell my lovely bike :( Not only is it far too valuable for someone in my financial state to be riding, I have hardly done so since I bought it anyway. Here is the full partlist:

Electric blue steel Borghini track frame, 54x54cm
Polished steel drilled fork, dia compe headset
    700c white Aerospoke front Wheel
700c Orange 32h Velocity Deep V Rear Wheel with blue Flip/Flop BLB hub
Nitto Chromo 40cm B-123 bars, lizardskin handlebar tape
    Sugino 75 165cm Cranks
    Sugino Zen Chainring
    Charge Masher Orange chain
    Anodized Blue MKS toeclips
    MKS pedals
    White Fizik Aliante Gamma Saddle
White Zaffiro Pro tyre on the front and blue/white gommitalia logosport on the back
    generic polished seatpost/ahead stem
    campagnolo bottom bracket
    Knog rear red LED light

The frame is lugged steel, weighs 2kg, track dropouts(obv). 27.2 seatpost, 1" headset. Perfect condition, as is the whole bike, couple of very very minor chips in the paint. As you can both the frame and the bike as a whole are very striking - this gets a lot of admiring glances and comments on it everytime I ride it. I would really rather not split it up but if I don't find a buyer for the whole thing I will, so feel free to ask for dibs on the individual parts. Looking for £1000 posted. Questions/req's for more pics welcomed.

  • ooof!

  • I'm surprised more people haven't taken the piss yet (apart from the fact your trying to sell it for $1K that is!!)

  • nice,very nice....
    but a grand...???

  • Don't get me wrong its nice, but a grand,,,,, you're kiddin' right??

  • It reminds me a bit of the pengy bike...

  • Nice looking bke, but isn't the halflink on the wrong way round?

  • My pic was of the fans the local footy team were I live (AAFK). There are a few cheapo MTNs around town with that colour scheme, and the bike shop in town do a midrange MTN in those colours.

These bikes have matching wheels though.

  • Get one and sell it on here. You'll get a grand for it.

On a serious note, my brothers borghini road bike is a fantastic ride.

  • SHERBIES FTW!

Yes, the frame looks to be a really nice one, which is why the orange chain bugged me so much.
