Thinking about it now,
HTFU and sell the rims for the price* you* want.
It's the risk you take when you sell something. If you don't know what it's worth then that's your problem when it gets to the point that you want to sell the item.
If this customer you already have is prepared to pay over the odds for something and you are prepared to let that happen, then go for it.
You bought them I assume? That should surely give you some sort of basis of value.
They are your rims, they are your customer, and it is your sale.
