STE5, I've seen Amores Perros, and felt that it was a very extremely poor comparison to Tarantino's early work, or that of Robert Rodriguez.
Been a long while since I watched it, but this struck me as a bit odd - I don't remember it having anything in common with Tarantino, or Robert Rodriguez. Neither of them are Mexican directors, and neither of them make dramas...? You might as well compare it unfavourably to The Thing, and/or Adam Sandler's later oeuvre.
