cheers lederhosen - yeah the gearing has a little bit of leeway as the dropouts are semi-vertical rather than vertical - there's more space than you get with vertical but not as much as horizontal dropouts obviously. In terms of the sizing, the top tube is significantly shorter than the seat tube.. a couple of people (one male and one female) around the 5'6'' mark tried it and they felt great on it and they looked really good on it... someone 5'8'' also tried it and felt great on it. I think someone 5'10'' would be okay but then you'd be extending the seat post to its maximum. I'm 6'1'' and felt like it needed a longer seatpost which of course starts messing with the look of it and looked like I was riding someone else's bike. unfortunately I'd say it's going to be too big for you man....
