  • Spent time in prison have you?

Sounds like substitute luvin to me.

    ;)

I can think of other situations where the sponge and soapy water where more adecuated

  • Yuckkk!! Euuuueeeewwww!!! Bllleeeeaaaggggghhhh!!

    ;) :) ;)

  • My thoughts exactly ^ why waste water when Saliva and other liquids would be far more appropriate......I mean....if only for their powerful enzymes and anti-bacterial properties of course.

  • This is pretty cheap. £3.99

  • I have a SS mtb fettled for the road and it has disc brakes which work no matter what the conditions.
On my road steeds I use Jagwire red pads. I cheat slightly and use mtb pads in road calipers, works well though.

i hear ya Rik, bitch needs a clean before i'd go near her. all that make up and shit.. natural woman FTW

  • Would muc off work on Beyonce.?

  • nice one, thanks for all the brake advice. And for Beyonce.

  • warm soapy water and a kitchen sponge works for me

Interesting, but what about your brakes?

Shudders at the thought of using 'rim' in this context...

  • I can think of other situations where the sponge and soapy water where more adecuated

    Fucking chavvy ear-rings.

  • You can clean your rims using one of these;

Available for about £15 from places like Parker or a decent LBS.

Or a quid from Focus or B&Q. Emery paper wrapped round a sponge, that is...

  • i find microfibre cloth and white spirit is good for rimming..
dry off thoroughly to avoid contamination of pads

  • yeah, i heard about white spirit , and that it needs to dry for ages ( an hour ? ) - otherwise supposedly the brakes squeak. Hmm many options here, guess it depends how rich i feel

  • Rimming tip #39

Those cheap 'windscreen' wipes are an easy way to clean rims and things. They contain a bit of alcohol but wont fuck with the rubber (which I think white spirit will). Beyonce probably deserves a higher quality liquer.
Then whack in Swiss Stops of choice. They are pricey and the greens don't last very long in the wet.
