Having been swayed by the dynamo hubs, I'm building a front wheel as well as a rear for my town-beater. So I need a rim.

I'd like an Mavic Open Pro in silver... but cheaper than retail.

It can be well worn, just as long as its straight.

It must be 36 hole.

All half decent box / boxish section rims considered.

[Also thinking of an open sport. Would a new open sport be better than an old open pro?]

I have a 36h black machined Open Pro, fairly used but perfectly straight, how's £15?

@hugo7 - since Open Pros went up so much in price, I've been looking at Rigidas - the Chrina is available in 36 hole, and well priced, though a bit heavier than the Open Pro; the Zenith is closer in spec (and in price) to the Open Pro, but only available in 28 or 32 hole drillings.

Don't like the looks of the Open Sport - single eyelet not double, I think.

@maxcrowe - I might be interested if the OP isn't, depending on how worn.

Cool, it isn't that worn, probably a few light scratches here and there. It isn't at home so I can't look right now though.
