there's not many reasons, just that one.
in this country, cycling for transport is seen as weirdy-beardy and "green", tree hugging lefty shit, and cycling for sport is simply seen as "gay" because men wear spandex and shave their chests.
why would a nation obsessed with football, drinking and violence vote for a cyclist again? if at all.
