For Sale: Old Raleigh for beater or polo

Needed to clear some space in our garage and found this old thing:

It's an old Raleigh City(?)

Raleigh 18-23 steel tubing
Sturmey Archer Hub that can probably be repaired and brought back into service.

The frame has rust on it but is salvageable IMO. Perfect for a beater or polo.

Re: sizing

Upright riding position - top tube length 56cm.

I'm 6ft tall dead on and so that should give you an idea of sizing from the pics. Probably perfect for s.o.5ft 8-10" (173-178cm) .

It's quite an upright riding position as you can see.

Looking for £45 for the lot. Collect from Arnos Grove (N11) Picadilly Line - just north of Wood Green. You can take it on the train from New Southgate (5 mins from the address) to King's Cross.

What are the spare wheels? Size? Rear hub threading? Condition?

Hi, sorry don't know any information on the spare wheels - they're off an old Raleigh Grand Prix bike.

£25 - that's as cheap as anything Hilarystone is selling plus the item is in London!

Bump - if you give me £25 I'll take this off your hands.

What you got to lose? A nice ride up to North London on a day like this and then catch the train back to Kings X.
