this work is highly derivative of the art of the late great dutch performance artist, Bas Jan Ader, who died at sea - also of that of the Viennese Aktionnists, except, & here oliver is absolutely right, it is recouperated & rendered harmless, a fleeting visual conumdrum to tease the eye
