Cuz you're so rad and fast that your headtube spontaneously caught fire? I considered leaving my Mercian like that after I'd had the headtube fixed, I really didn't wanna lose the original 50s paint... But it just looked a bit sad... :[
If that turned up 'as is' at a Herne Hill jumble you'd probably get asked for less than £50 for it... Just sayin'...

Yeah was thinking that sort of level and definitely lose the braze ons. I'm concerned by the HT and those scuffs on the DT and chain stays are weird too. I'd definitely want a look before parting with my hard earned. Other than that does it look correct otherwise? Eg forks, geometery etc?

What forks? Just seen the forks... I'd go and have a look if I were you... Could be a headtube repair which would account for the savaging...

BTW that condor was listed before £200 BIN and didn't get sold.... don't know if that helps much, but knowlege is power ; )

Hypothetically speaking (as I know there's an issue with puppy slaying - I'm on your side I built up the aende lo pro back into a campag geared tt bike, see current projects etc.)
