To all - When filtering past traffic, especially stationary traffic, SLOW DOWN! Ride only as fast as it's safe to do so. That speed should be a speed at which you can safely stop should you need / be forced to do so.

Always but always expect the unexpected!

Yeah, this is a fundamental rule of the road.. If you're going at a speed that you are unable to stop in time for, should a hazard appear in your path, you are going too fast.
