favourite mice pies of yesteryear:

starbuck's (shameful, i know)
pret (they're pretty good!)
st john's (until i realised that the reason they're so good is because they probably contain vast amounts of LARD)

Lard; this is why Poland's entry into the EU threatened our Christmas.
