  • It had me to thinking, though, about other foods that were vegan friendly. For example, can vegans eat bacterial mats or biofilms? What about placenta(s/e) (either their own, or that of friends). Their own nails? Or, as I sit here excavating my right nostril - bogies?

    Bacterial mats - Why would I want to?
    Biofilms - As above
    Placenta - Nothing died, I can see no ethical reason preventing the consumption of Placentae
    Nails - Nothing died.
    Boogers - Nothing died.

    You appear to be confused as to what constitues being vegan.
